Meet the professionals
We are honoured to have the following PGA-qualified professionals as part of our Kingsfield team.
Jane was a Curtis Cup player at age 16 and as a professional won five times on the European Ladies Tour. She is one of the top female coaches in Scotland and was the National Coach to the Scottish Ladies Golfing Association from 1995 until 2002. Jane is a trained club fitting specialist.
Jane offers 1-to-1 coaching but is particularly popular for her customised ladies and youth group classes, especially her Kingsfield Kids classes.
In his 25 years’ experience as a PGA instructor, Ian has coached players on both the men’s and ladies European Tour, main European Development Tours, and within the Scottish Golf National Academy.
He may spend much of his time working with performance players but his passion lies in helping golfers of all abilities become the best they want to be; "there is no better reward than seeing a player enjoy their golf", says Ian.
Away from coaching, Ian is a QCF L3 tutor and assessor working in coach education with the PGA and Sportscotland and is also an adviser to Scottish Golf on the development process of young golfers.
Tuition from our resident short game doctor is the easiest and quickest way to lower your scores, regardless of what level you compete at. David’s passion and extensive knowledge of the short game comes from his worldwide golfing achievements - an award-winning PGA Professional, a Certified Putting Instructor specialising in short game and performance coaching, an amateur career in which he played in the winning team of the 1999 Walker Cup, a member of Bunkered magazine's teaching panel, he is also Fife Golf Association’s Short Game Coach and one of the Fife Academy coaches.
He believes it is essential to constantly measure and evaluate your practice and progress. He has helped numerous elite amateurs and professionals improve their short game and can help golfers of all abilities achieve their goals.
David is a qualified Master Teaching Professional having previously enjoyed a highly successful amateur career. Renowned for his highly effective teaching methods - combining innovation with tradition and tailoring it the individual’s needs - David can help you achieve your golfing dreams.
His coaching is ideal for all ages and ability of player, and has experience of coaching youngsters with hearing and learning disabilities.
Known as one of Britain’s most accomplished and well respected PGA Professionals, Kevin’s excellent golfing attributes have led him to becoming coach to many of the world’s most talented golfers. His simple and unique teaching style appeals to all levels of golfers from beginner to national and European tour players (not to mention the occasional show-biz celebrity!).
