Katie’s Cup 2026 brought another fantastic day of golf, fundraising and community spirit to Kingsfield Golf & Leisure in Linlithgow.
This year, an incredible £47,500 was raised for six charities, bringing the event’s total fundraising to almost £400,000 over the years.
From the golf course to the celebrations at Kingsfield Barn, the event brought together golfers, sponsors, supporters and volunteers from across Linlithgow, West Lothian and Central Scotland.
Here are some of the moments that helped make Katie’s Cup 2026 such a memorable occasion.
More Than a Golf Day
Katie’s Cup has a story behind it that goes beyond the golf.

The event was created in memory of Katie, Jane’s daughter, who was born asleep. What began as a way to remember her has grown into an annual gathering that brings the Kingsfield community together while raising money for charity.
That sense of meaning is part of what makes the day different.
There is the excitement of getting out on the course, the friendly competition between groups and the anticipation of the evening ahead. But running through all of it is the knowledge that the day is helping support six worthwhile causes.
Over the years, that combination of remembrance, community and fundraising has helped Katie’s Cup become a much-loved part of the Kingsfield calendar.
Six Charities Benefiting from This Year’s Event
The £47,500 raised in 2026 will support six charities:
- CHAS – Children’s Hospices Across Scotland
- My Name’5 Doddie Foundation
- Jaxon’s Gift
- Maggie’s Forth Valley
- DEBRA UK
- Blue Eyes Sport Foundation
Each charity brings its own purpose and important work, giving the fundraising a wide-reaching impact.
For everyone taking part in Katie’s Cup, it meant that a day spent enjoying golf and good company could also make a meaningful contribution beyond Kingsfield.
A Full Day at Kingsfield
The golf course was at the heart of Katie’s Cup 2026, with golfers coming together for a day of competition, conversation and plenty of memorable moments.

Events like this are as much about the experience around the golf as they are about the scorecard.
Groups enjoy the chance to spend time together, businesses connect with clients and colleagues, and supporters get to experience the atmosphere that makes a Kingsfield event special.
With golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, suppliers and supporters all involved, the day brought together people from Linlithgow, West Lothian and further across Central Scotland.
And once the golf was over, there was still plenty more to come.
From Fairways to the Barn
As the day moved into the evening, Katie’s Cup headed from the course to Kingsfield Barn.
The After Party on Saturday 22 August brought everyone together again, this time with a packed room, live entertainment and an evening of fundraising.
It was a chance to relax after the golf, catch up with friends and enjoy the celebrations while keeping the focus on the charities at the heart of the event.
The atmosphere at Kingsfield Barn gave the day a completely different energy — and provided the perfect setting for the evening’s entertainment and fundraising activities.
A Night to Remember at Kingsfield Barn
The entertainment was a big part of the evening.

Unison Anthems helped set the mood, bringing live music to the Barn and getting the celebrations underway.
Later, The Funk Wagen kept the energy going, giving guests plenty of opportunities to get up and enjoy the music.
The evening also featured a special appearance from James Wilson, who joined Brian McLaughlin and helped bring the crowd behind the cause.
With music, familiar faces and a lively atmosphere filling Kingsfield Barn, the After Party became a memorable way to round off the day.
The Auction Adds to the Excitement
The evening wasn’t just about entertainment.
A live auction hosted by Grant Stott gave guests another opportunity to get involved, with a selection of fantastic prizes up for grabs.
The bidding brought plenty of excitement to the room while helping add to the evening’s fundraising.
It was one of those moments where the competitive spirit of the golf day carried naturally into the celebrations — only this time, the focus was on raising even more for the charities.
£47,500 This Year, Almost £400,000 Overall
The final fundraising figure puts this year’s event into perspective.
In 2025, Katie’s Cup raised £32,000, taking the overall total beyond £340,000.
This year’s £47,500 brings the total raised through Katie’s Cup over the years to almost £400,000.
That’s a remarkable milestone for an event that started with a deeply personal reason for coming together.
Year after year, the event has continued to grow into something that reaches far beyond the original gathering — connecting people through golf while raising money for charities that make a difference.
A Katie’s Cup Tradition Worth Carrying Forward
Katie’s Cup 2026 was about much more than one figure on a fundraising total.

It was a day on the golf course, an evening at Kingsfield Barn, live music, friendly competition, an auction and a community coming together for something meaningful.
Most importantly, it continued a tradition created to remember Katie while helping others.
With £47,500 raised this year and almost £400,000 raised overall, Katie’s Cup has plenty to celebrate — and its story continues.
A huge thank you to Cradel AV, our headline sponsor, along with every golfer, sponsor, donor, auction bidder, volunteer, supplier and supporter who helped make this year’s event possible.
