Getting to know the course
Kingsfield Golf Course is a 9 hole USGA specification course with a variety of obstacles to challenge golfers of all skill levels. Expertly crafted by Graeme J Webster, a renowned golf course architect from Scotland. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a novice, our course offers a perfect balance of excitement and strategy with each hole, creating a delightful ‘risk and reward’ experience. Our course map is available on the scorecard which you will receive at reception. Take your time and familiarize yourself with the layout of the course before you start playing.
The opening hole of Kingsfield is a semi-blind short par-4, meaning golfers on the tee have to be sure the green is clear before teeing off. To help with this we’ve installed a unique set of traffic lights! When golfers vacate the first green, they press a button to ensure the light turns from red to green at the first tee, allowing play to commence. The same applies at the first tee, with players teeing off and then hitting the button so it turns to red.
Safety on the course
We take utmost care for the safety of our golfers and the environment and request that you do too. Keep an eye out for other golfers, look out for signs of caution, and follow instructions from our team. We ask that you don’t play an additional shot until it is clear to do so, for your safety and that of others.
Etiquette while playing
Golf is an honourable game, and we expect our players to follow the rules of etiquette. Keep a healthy pace of play, repair divots, and rake bunkers. Always be respectful of the course and those around you. Most importantly, have fun!
Enjoying our facilities
Kingsfield Golf Course offers a range of facilities to make your experience more enjoyable. Take advantage of our driving range, putting green, and short game area before you start playing. And after your game, relax and unwind at our Tee Caddy Coffee Shop for refreshments.
We hope this guide has helped you make the best of your experience at Kingsfield Golf Course. Remember to always have fun, be respectful and enjoy the game. We hope to see you soon!
